I was reading an article in an old issue of ESPN magazine today about various sports icons and the different quotes, mottoes and words of wisdom that they live by. It got me thinking about some of my favorite sayings. I used to keep a bunch of them tacked to a bulletin board at my old job. Being the pack rat that I am and not wanting to forget these powerful words, I saved the note cards they were written on. Reading that article inspired me to dig those note cards out of the “old work stuff” file I still have. Each one still resonates with me, and because I think they’re great quotes that everyone can take something from, I’d like to share them with you.
